Not sure where you figure that, since they haven't played Arkansas yet, nor Ok State again, and K-State, all of whom will help bump the RPI just by playing them, and how they fare the rest of the season.

Unless you're quite the prognosticator, it would seem a bit early to say what records they need to have what sort of RPI.

It is simple math.

That makes sense...apparently my sarcasm meter was broken on that one.

I can't take credit for the calculation. Boyd Nation does this calculation and updates it daily I believe

http://www.boydsworld.com/baseball/rpi/rpineeds.html

Team RPI 8 16 32 45 ROWP
Creighton 53 ----- ----- 20-3 18-5 0.557
Evansville 135 ----- ----- 23-0 21-2 0.611
Illinois State 97 ----- ----- ----- 22-0 0.529
Missouri State 76 ----- ----- 20-3 18-5 0.593
Wichita State 123 ----- ----- 25-1 23-3 0.597

SIU, Badley and Indiana State - have no hope and must win tournament (Evansville, WSU and ISU are reall at that point also).

Man, I don't get what has happened to the Wheat Shox. The WSU alum in my office thinks Gene is just mailing it in at this point. He wishes Gene would have stayed at OU and then WSU could have taken an energetic young guy in Golloway. Funny how things turn out sometimes.

Ah, yes the Wunderkind Sunny Golloway. I puked listening to him brag about his program's mystery "quick recovery regimen" for his pitchers and how he was blessed with a staff FULL of rubber-arms. Turns out, his star pupil was busted for performance-enhancing drug use shortly after he left OU.

You're a cheater, Sunny. Stay at OU. You are a match made in heaven for them.
