What a battle of bottom-feeders this weekend when Wichita State hosts Evansville.

Does the MVC have any chance of getting more than one team into the NCAA?

I think Creighton's RPI is in the mid 50's right now. I think they have the only shot at an at-large. They are 7-1 against NCAA teams from last year (New Mexico, Kansas State, Illinois State) and also have a win against Kansas. They have another game against Nebraska next week to open TD Ameritrade Park. No world beaters on that list but their RPI is decent so they have a shot.

Creighton and MSU have slight chances. CU needs to to go 15-7 to be on the bubble and 19-3 to have a strong chance for at-large. MSU needs at minimum a 16-6 record to be on the bubble and 20-2 for legitimate at-large.

CU has no top-50 wins. MSU is 2-4. Which will be negative discriminators. With WSU pretty much sucking it up there is no help from them as they will be sucking CU and MSU rpi down (or up in this case).

The reality is MVC is ranked 14th so unless a perfect storm of events happen it is very unlikely this will be a 2-bid league.
