It had to be like this, right? How else could the first Valley tournament at TD Ameritrade Park end?

There was no other way than Creighton vs. Wichita State Saturday night at 7 for the championship and other assorted symbolic goodies.

Forecast for the game tonight looks ideal. Will be interesting to see what kind of crowd this game draws. There is some discussion about possibly breaking the MVC tournament attendance record of 7200+ set by Wichita in 1991, but that seems more than a little ambitious if you asked me. Last year's title game between Illinois State and Wichita State at Eck drew 4815, which I think is reachable for tonight's game.
