If you take the whole body of work, the entire season, Creighton, "The Class of the Valley" just today played its second top 50 team, others played a tougher schedule, Creighton, "The Class of the Valley" played an easier schedule, pretty simple.

Apparently you forgot how the award works. Beating up on 200 RPI teams to inflate your stats does not elevate you to Pitcher of the Year status. Good effort though.
