Changes abound for WSU baseball

This is an ideal time to make changes for many reasons. People are open to it after three disappointing seasons. The seniors are regarded as team-first guys who can lead the way. And with 25 sophomores and freshmen on the roster, the changes have a chance to influence the team for years.

“They wanted it to feel more like a team,” sophomore pitcher Albert Minnis said. “You don’t go to Wichita State to hopefully win the Valley. You go to Wichita State to win a national title. We’ve got to change something. We can’t keep doing the things we were doing and expect different results.”
