Changes abound for WSU baseball
Posted: February 29th, 2012, 6:28 pmThis is an ideal time to make changes for many reasons. People are open to it after three disappointing seasons. The seniors are regarded as team-first guys who can lead the way. And with 25 sophomores and freshmen on the roster, the changes have a chance to influence the team for years.
“They wanted it to feel more like a team,” sophomore pitcher Albert Minnis said. “You don’t go to Wichita State to hopefully win the Valley. You go to Wichita State to win a national title. We’ve got to change something. We can’t keep doing the things we were doing and expect different results.”
