Do any MVC schools break even on baseball? Or do they all lose
money?

So...ISUr will be hosting the MVC baseball playoffs next season? They have a nice newly renovated stadium--

WSU has broken even or made a profit several times. Not so much with other schools from what I know.

Has the attendance in Wichita declined to any consequence due to the "hatred" of Stephenson that is expressed by several fans on the Shocker board since he left for Oklahoma & then had a change of heart and came back?

Of course it has. When the worst team you've had in 40 years is always your current team, what would you expect? Gene created and fed the monster for an unbelievably long time, continually competing at the highest level for 35 years without much of a letup at any point. Now we're three years deep in such a letup and the wheels are coming off the wagon.

Imagine what would be going on if WSU was one game under .500 instead of 10 games over .500?

Imagine what would be going on if WSU was having a Creighton kind of year?

They don't hate him for leaving and having a sudden change of heart. They don't like how he is now washed up and not winning the way they expect him to. Most Wichita fans have oftentimes dreamed of someday leaving Sedgwick County so they can sympathize with the OU situation.

I realize that the WSU fans are like the Cousin Eddie to our Clark Griswald and family, but at least they have a high standard and don't compromise when it is not met. They don't settle for being average. A lot of Valley schools could learn from that.

You hit the nail on the head there, most people in Sedgwick County wish to move to dogpatch for the "throwed rolls". It don't get no better than that in fine dining.

Because you don't deserve it, is should be MSU, WSU, and CU no need to ever let it out of that rotation.

What exactly has MSU done to deserve it? Is finishing 2nd that big of an accomplishment now?
