Actually it was, with two at large bids and DBU playing a Valley schedule also getting in, a very good day for MVC Baseball. And while I think WSU should have also gotten a bid based on teams like Michigan State geting in, it's not a bad thing for the Valley to show it doesn't any longer need to ride on the coattails of the Shox, with 3 teams in and a 4th sorta, and not one of them named Wichita State. Now someone needs to make a decent run.

Is there an NIT for baseball?

When Creighton makes it to the CWS, at least they won't get beat by the Shox 2x again. It's smooth sailing to a National Championship.

I just heard a rumor that the 2013 MVC Baseball Tournament might not be held in Normal next year afterall.

I heard that they may be re-opening the bids for 2013. Has anyone else heard this? Anyone in Normal have the skinny on what is going on?
