Is your coach afraid of Dallas Baptist?

Postby iSASO » June 13th, 2012, 9:53 pm

Some cite financial burden of travel, some have to do with competitive balance (with a few coaches allegedly concerned that the bar will be raised in the league, thus jeopardizing their jobs),

Is your coach fighting to lower the bar in the conference? Someone appears to be.
Random MVCFans.com member, circa 2007: "Gregg Marshall is in over his head in this conference."

I was told by a reputable person that Creighton voted to add them again this spring and was pissed that others prevented it.

I am pretty sure that Missouri State either voted for DBU or abstained. Not sure the sentiment is in support among our fans but the bigwigs did not vote against.

Maybe we can appease the Eastern bloc by inviting Stony Brook as a baseball only member? I am only kind of joking. It would make about as much sense except that SBU is an AAU member and has great staying power as a program. If they were 300 miles further West I'd invite them as a full member in a heartbeat but alas they are not.
