Reports are that MVC coaches have voted to approve adding Dallas Baptist to the MVC in 2014... now waiting for Presidential approval. If this happens, it's a definite plus for the MVC.

The league's AD's voted 7-1 for admission to the MVC. There will be a later vote by the league's presidents for DBU's admission.

Bradley was the dissenting vote among the AD's this time. ILS voted for DBU in both votes.

This is definitely good news for Valley baseball. We need a team that's going to add to the valley and they've had a great past few years. I still dont know a whole lot about them besides their last couple of years being strong.

Well they are from Dallas, they are Baptist's so the will be a counter to the Catholics.

It would be shortsighted for the presidents to vote against admitting Dallas Baptist to the Valley for baseball.

The Courier & Press has learned that Missouri Valley Conference presidents approved adding Dallas Baptist today as a baseball-only member.

that is good for MVC baseball. Will be interesting to see what format they will adopt for the mvc tournament this year.
