Great setup for Wichita State. Should be a fun game to be at.

Tough regional for the Wheat Shockers. Very good chance I might make it to Manhattan in person. I am friends with Robert Lipson and he is trying to organize a large Wildcat group at the Regional.

Arkansas is no joke either.

Wichita State can't do what they did this last weekend and play in the loser's bracket if they have any hope of advancing.

I will probably have a regional preview up in a few days.

Tough for me to root against a Valley school, but EMAW all the way!

First off....

No s*** the 4 seed has a tough road

Secondly, don't bother with your review, NOBODY and I mean NOBODY reads your stuff in a serious fashion.

Just FYI, but I did Regional previews for all of the regionals that had Valley schools in them last year and they put them on the front page. If you don't want to read it, then you do not have to.

Advertising your rooting interests really does nothing for your credibility, Casey. Besides, the Shockers have made a fat living off of your dire predictions and anti-Shocker sentiments for some time now.

Shox jump to a quick 2-0 lead, but K-State responds and the Wildcats are now ahead 9-2 in the 3rd inning.

This game was never close once the Shockers took the mound. 3 pitchers used in the 1st inning alone with the final score being 20-11 after Wichita chalked up 2 late. So yeah....that's that.

I guess the irony is: If you can't win with grace and humility before regional play...you give up the most runs ever by a Shocker team in NCAA tournament history. But hey, it's the Year of the Shocking.

hey, beating the redbirds for the meaningless MVC championship was the Shockers CWS. Hopefully now the program can move on and fire Gene and hire somebody good for the program.
