Reports are that Arkansas Associate Head Coach Todd Butler will become the 2nd head coach in the modern era of Shocker Baseball. One of the hottest coach names in the country, Butler is well-known as a top-notch recruiter. It will be interesting to see who is tabbed to fill out the coaching staff.

Sounds like Coach Butler is making the rounds with all the former players, boosters and former season ticket holders. Said recently that he's working 14-16 hours a day to rebuild the program that Gene had ridden all the way down to an MVC title this past season.
I'm just happy that WSU didn't settle for a Valley re-tread.
