In one of the stranger years for Missouri St.baseball, they take advantage of the home field and win the MVC Tourney and a trip to the NCAA. Team could always hit, but getting a consistent lineup out there and never being certain on the mound led to a very up and down year. But they got a break with the weather early in the tourney, got just enough pitching, and generally applied constant pressure offensively to win 5 games.
