I said that the Jays wouldn't lose 2 in a row, and I was wrong with that. I'm somewhat afraid to say that they won't lose 3 in a row. I like that trend of 30-0 after losing 2 in a row. I think that the Jays will win, and I hope that they do.

Two things I would never do:

1) Storm the court after beating a team in my own conference, unless it is at the tourney championship in St Louis (I expect to be able to beat conference opponents); and
2) Print up shirts featuring the name of another school in my conference (Print up all the shirts you want about your own school but NEVER advertise the existence of the other school!)

Both scream insecurity/inferiority complex/obsession to me.

It may...but it was funny as hell watching Creighton students buying them at Arch Madness a couple years ago.

My preview of today's games has been posted on The MVC Report. In the WSU-CU matchup, I think whoever makes more three pointers wins.

I think this game will be a barn burner, at least I want it to be. Will be fun to watch.

For both teams it would really be a chance to step out with a big win, from a points spread standpoint.
I wonder though if a beat down were to happen, either way, if it could have an effect such as when Drake beat Illinos State in the conference tournament in 08. Many thought the Valley would have two teams in that year.

My gut feeling is Wichita is going to make it happen, but Creighton having the team they have and a two game losing streak are surely out to change that status. I would like to see the game person.

Will there be a lot of Shocker fans in the house or is it sold out locally?

If the Shockers lose, Señora Rio will be in deep depression.

She has been looking forward to this game for a week.

She keeps asking me, "How many more hours?"

She has the chips and dip all ready.

The DVR is set.

If the Blue Birds win, she awill be admitted to psychiatric wing of Wesley Hospital and I will not be gettin' any for awhile.
