I suppose I should be thankful you only called me arrogant and not a racist. How you are a mod is baffling.

Calling the bottom-feeders in any league a dreg isn't as much of a dig as it is a fact. A cellar-dweller can still beat the better teams, of course: SIU showed WSU as much just a few days ago. Doesn't change the fact that it was a terrible loss and SIU is a bad team this year.

ETA: Good job hanging on, Trees. That would have been a devastating loss.

Respect your opponent.

The top 3 Valley teams are not as dominant as some of the novices believe.

The lower 3 Valley teams are more competitive than we give them credit.

Dreg? No.

I have NO comment on this game other than ISU is the luckiest da#@ team in the MVC this season, I think UNI fans will agree.

and 1 other thing, both teams are ATROCIOUS at free throw shooting

I am so sorry that the MVC cannot have everyone go 9-9 and earn 10 bids. Getting offended at something like the term 'dreg' is a "tad silly" when my post was discussing what is generally best for the MVC's pocketbook. Hardly an attacking post, Ace Dad.

If you would like to discuss arrogance, let's talk about how you view yourself as the social conscience of this board. I have read these forums since well before Lucious was on UEs radar, so the condescending novice talk can stop. I am sorry you went through difficult times for a while but that experience colors every one of your posts and the agenda is annoying and old.

You used to be a consensus Top 5 poster on this site 5-10 years ago. Informative, occasionally funny, and not what I would describe as thin-skinned. I'd like to see that poster come back.

GoShock, I made my observation. You made yours. Now, we can return to prime time discussion about the Salukis almost knocking off the Trees.

Thin Skinned ;)

I guess we snuffed the momentum in this thread. Apologies.

Question for Trees fans: You guys have no seniors on this year's squad. Does this mean you will not have a recruiting class arriving next season? Or do you have a scholarship or two lying around that can be used?

ISU has one Guard coming in next year. Lucas EItel is a JR walk on who this year is on scholarship and next year will be a walk on again. Other than that and a 6'11 280 pound JC center who broke his foot earlier in the year they will be the same team next season.

You've been saying that for about 10 years now.

Brenton Scott will be a true freshman next year, TJ Bell is redshirting as a freshman this season. And Mike Samuels has been out all season with a medical redshirt, so he will be a redshirt junior.

Those will be our 3 new players for 13-14'

Arguably, but none of the 7-10 seeds will win four in a row in four days.

So should they not bother showing up for the tourney?
