Yes.

It's amazing how many people absolutely refuse to get it.

Thank you Mr. Basketball.

You're welcome. It is draining, but I will continue to explain it to you every year, 8 times a year. One of these times you might catch on. I still have hope.

JB played 39 minutes in a Thursday PIG. He sounds like a pretty good player on a really bad team who is asked to do more than he is capable of to make them competitive. If others could do more, he might do a little less, but they would have a better team. Good Luck vs. ISUR

You make it sound like since it was a Thursday night PIG he should have played less? It was kind of an important game. There is no tomorrrow.

He has been doing this all year. He did it all last year as well. This is no surprise to UE fans Last year they played 3 games in 3 days. It didn't seem to have much effect on the players.

The game also got a little close down the stretch. IMO, you don't play for tomorrow, you have to win today. And you do whatever it takes. He probably could have came out at again when they got up big. Is 35 minutes played that much more of a difference then 39?

It is no secret Marty doesn't play his bench, and last night was simply a perfect example.

Yes, there is no tomorrow...but, we had (4) players with 32 or more minutes, JB with 39. Considering that this game was a blowout throughout most of the game, and there is another game in 14 hours, you do need to utilize a little rest. There was plenty of points during the 2nd half, with the lead in the 20 point range, that JB and others should have been on the bench more. Yes, ISU made a run, and somewhat of a ballgame out of it, but IMO, that run was probably due to the starters losing a step in their game and getting tired. Rest them with the big lead, put fresh bodies on them if nothing else, to bang them around, and if the lead dwindles to 13-11, bring RESTED key players back into the game. They dwindled the lead last night, with our key players wearing out in the game.

You can keep trying. In the course of a season, 39 and 35 is big difference. I believe that. But in back to back games, win or go home type of game...you will never convince me that the 39 minutes instead 35 minutes makes any difference at all.

This is just a failure of understanding of basic physiology. And an obvious lack of experience. You are certainly welcome to maintain your incorrect stance with fervor. As near as I can tell, that is what you are best at.

Lots of basketball between now and then, tournaments can change on a dime. I do think they get by Missouri State tonight though.

Geez. Does it take a Bradley grad to help out.

39 minutes is clearly four more minutes than 35 minutes. :)

Brown 2-10 in the first half.

Use whatever reasoning you want.
