Big loss for the Aces as Silas Adheke 3 Star PF is leaving program. Likely will land at a P5 school. :(

I see no new regarding this. Only your fan forum talking about it.

Aces have only got nine players on the roster now, with at least 3 open scholarships to offer. Too late to get any body willing to play for Marty, so it looks like no possibility but a last place finish for the Aces this year. I don't see how any Valley team could be worse.

On a positive note this dumpster fire of a season will be Martys last. :Yea!:

Don't understand why everyone is so down on Evansville this year.

They had some nice wins down the stretch last year, and bring back some good players.

Because most UE posters on this site actually want Simmons gone. Losing five seniors and now two transferring out of the program will make it hard to succeed in the MVC this year.

Good players, maybe. Great players, no.
Ryan Taylor, 6-6 Jr. Capable of scoring 20 points, also capable of 6 or 8.
Solomon Hainna 6-6 Sr. Very inconsistent. Never know what to expect.
Dru Smith 6-3 Soph. Great defensive player. Offense yet to be determined. Could be great.
Dalen Traore 6-9 Sr. Hurt last year. If healthy could be adequate. Real ?.
Duane Gibson 6-3 Sr. Lost a year with busted knee. Better than average if healthy.
John Hall 6-7 Red shirt Fr. At Aces Hoopsfest last year I thought he was best player on the floor.
Blake Simmons 6-5 Sr. Coach's son. Very intelligent . Knows the system, but is handicapped by his size.
2 or 3 open scholarships. Who knows what we get from those. Right now only one player over 6-7. Any way you look at it, it's going to be a long cold winter winter in Southern Indiana.

But why so down though?

Even though I think Loyola is vastly overrated as the pre-season favorite, you guys still beat them last year, and probably should have beaten them at their place last year.

Also you guys beat Missouri State.

Just don't dig an early hole in conference play and a top six finish is possible.

The team lost 54% of the minutes played, 64% of the scoring, and 42% of the 3 point scoring. Also, right now only one player over 6'8" with experience on the roster. Team was expecting big things from Silas Adheke this season. He left the team last week.
