Most are happy with the schedule. You have to remember; we won't have Cooper Neese and Christian Williams during our non-con (both of whom many speculate will be starters or work their way into the starting rotation once eligibility starts).

Why won't ISU have Neese and Williams?

Per NCAA rules a transfer has to sit out a full year (2 semesters). They were enrolled at Iowa and Butler during the fall semester of 2017. So there ineligible status runs through spring 2018 and fall 2018 semesters; making them eligible once classes end in December 2018 (about the time conference starts).

Sounds like LU bought out of the previous tournament noted per his comments on Andy Katz podcast. Are now set for the Suncoast Classic. We will play Richmond in the first round then either Boston College or Wyoming (both on a neutral floor). Not jaw dropping but an improvement for sure; looks like we're replacing Ole Miss

Looks like the Aces will be playing Illinois on the road, Wyoming at home, Murray St. at home, and Xavier on the road. Gone are the days of the SWAC, Midway, and Oakland City. Exciting times in the River City.

None of this is official, but Pat Hickey the Aces beat writer for the local paper is tweeting that the Aces are good for a H/H with Miami (Ohio) on the road this year, and a H/H with Ball State, on the road this year. Also from what he calls a very good source, a buy game with Kentucky in 2019-2020.

Looks like that game @Xavier isn't a buy game but rather an unbracketed Maui Invitational game. Evansville is going to take part in the Maui on the Mainland portion meaning they're probably going to play some fairly weak teams. Oh well their schedule still represents a big improvement.

Bradley has been connected with the Rocky Mountain Challenge but I've heard precious little about that tournament and who it will feature. Can someone enlighten me? I'd like to see Bradley or Drake look into the Cancun Challenge (Penn State SMU Wright State) The tournament in Belfast Northern Ireland (only Buffalo committed so far) or even the Notre Dame MTE to at least get a shot at playing Notre Dame of course the tradeoff could be some pretty bad games but Notre Dame would be a good get for anyone's schedule.
