Jake White for WSU should be on this list. While WSU won't count on a freshman the way most of the other teams need to count on freshman, he has to be included as one of the most talented in this class.

And it wouldn't totally surprise me to see him win this award. Dude has game.

I would nominate PG Deon Mitchell for UNI before any other Panther, simply because he will probably be the one playing the most minutes.

Redshirts have yet to be decided, and most of the other freshman are still candidates for a redshirt.

*edit: looks like the change has been made. Mitchell and Tuttle would definitely be the two that I would nominate from UNI.

This has to go to someone who starts. I'll take Moore just because of the hype in Normal.

So, the question to fans of the various teams is this......which freshman (or freshmen) are likely to start for your team.

For Drake, Karl Madison is the likely starter at point guard. However, I don't see him as the kind of guy who will put up big numbers.

I can't see Creighton starting any freshmen. Austin Chatman will receive the most PT of the four, but even he won't start.

If WSU starts any freshman, something has gone terribly wrong, or Jake White is the next little Mac.
