ESPN released their entire season's hoops schedule today. Some very nice TV matchups for the MVC this year, IMO.

Looks like all of the Creighton/WSU/InSU matchups are on ESPN except for Creighton @ InSU.

Kind of surprised they put InSU @ Evansville on. It will be a nice opportunity for Evansville to showcase their new arena with potentially 2 top half MVC teams. Hope the attendance is good.

I'm also kind of surprised with Evansville @ Drake...great matchup.

I think UNI's Sweet 16 run is still paying off with this TV schedule, they got quite a few games on.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but from what I saw, that was a slap to the face to Valley.

Even in MSU's down years over the past few years, we still had a handful of games on the ESPN networks. We have 3 this year and 2 of those are on ESPN3

I hate that about ESPN. They try to say that ESPN3 games are "TV" games. They are not. There is not a Television network called ESPN3. It's an internet station. Let's not act like its the same as ESPNU, ESPN, etc.

I totally agree. ESPN3 isn't TV. The best thing for the Valley would be to have one or two teams separate from the rest and get into the Top 25 so TV is forced to pay attention to us.

Creighton and SIU did that about a decade back. It didn't exactly put us in every living room. I've never been a fan of the agreement with Fox Sports Net. I wish the MVC would find a new partner... maybe even an unconventional one with VIACOM including CBS Sports Network and SpikeTV, etc.

I agree, the Fox Sports stinks, you can't watch any games unless you live in the midwest. I'd prefer a national network like ESPN or even something like versus.
