Great thread.

Thanks for doing this every year, Duo.

Hopefully, the conference gets out to a faster and better start this year.

.. You forgot WSU's trip to Puerto Rico. We play Colorado on the 17th at 6:30 on ESPNU, with Alabama or Maryland to follow on the 18th..

You're welcome. I love doing it. Wish I could remember who started it on VT so that I could give proper respect to them

Thanks for the heads up. Thought I might have missed some. I found 2 completely different Valley schedules on ESPN.com and tried to piece them together. Thought it was odd that WSU would take 12 days off

I love the valley victims thread. It's a great way to keep up with our big wins/losses around the conference.

Quite a test for the Bears in their first game of the year. Nevada returns 5 starters and is I think the consensus pre season pick to win the WAC. I wish we were were playing them after we've had a few games under our belt.

13-19 (8-8) last season and it looks like they were slow to start in the non-conference.....i don't know. It will be a test simply because it is a road game to open the season, but you should pull out the W.

Did you read the ESPN team preview? They (Nevada)were pretty young and inexperienced last year which accounts for their record. But they look pretty strong this year. According to the preview they have 4 of the 10 best players in their league. I hope you're right and we can pull out the win though.

I do also wish all the Valley teams do well in the non conference this year. I know a lot of us are expecting big things this year and hopefully this is the start of that.

Pretty good for their conference I suppose, but maybe not the valley. If that were the case then expect the redbirds to run away with the conference this year since we had little experience and return 4/5 starters.

Yeah, because that's what he said...Good grief. Do people read what others write before they respond?

Nevada is a year older with the same guys. MO State showed last year what a benefit it can be having an almost complete team together for 2+ years. Illinois State should make a jump if Jank has done his job in preparing and making the Redbirds better players. CU brings a lot back. As does ISU-b. WSU brings some back and brought in, what they hope to be, the right pieces. That is why they are in the discussion for the MVC title chase.
