2. Wichita St. 7-2
3. UNI 9-1

4. Indiana St 7-2 - Vanderbilt Saturday
5. Missouri St. 5-3

7. Drake 6-3 @ Iowa Saturday
8. Evansville 4-4

I did not have time to review the games as much as I usually do, I hope to be more in depth next week.

I'd move Bradley up to tier 3. SIU is truly in a class of their own this year.

Here's what I think:

Creighton
WSU
Think these 2 will be fighting for the title.
Objectionable on WSU but they have the experience and talent. As a WSU fan, my concern and belief is that Greg getting out coached by McD and Jacobson will cost us the title. Not in any particular game, but I feel that it will set us up for being upset a time or 2 more.

UNI
Think is less likely they win it but with the best coach in the league who knows.

Ind. St.
Don't think they will win the league but easily 4th in the conference.
......
MSU
Drake
Ill St.
Think these 3 will be fighting to stay off of Thursday night. Possibly throw in Evansville, based solely on preseason ranking and experience.

Bradley
Lack of depth, lack of inside presence, or lack of athletes puts these 2 here; expect these 2 to pull off some upsets though unfortunately.

SIU
Is one of the absolute worst teams in the country let alone the Valley.

I like FTQ's rankings much better. They seem more accurate and I like the tiers as I do think there is going to be a seperation this year from the top quality in the conference and the not as quality.

I'm fine with WSU being ranked 2nd, but why spend the entire "tease" article talking about UNI not quite knocking Creighton off the top spot, only to list them 3rd? Unless you just want more clicks.

Not sure why WSU would be above UNI.

While WSU being ranked above UNI is not fact, neither is UNI being ranked above WSU fact. It's one guy's objective opinion and it's totally legitimate. WSU's best win trumps UNI's best win. WSU's worst loss isn't near as bad as UNI's.

I don't really get the beef here, unless of course, you're just a homer.
