Absolutely no defense. Disappointing performance.
Thoughts and prayers to WSU finding a new conference.

Let's be perfectly honest. UE was damn lucky to win the other day. Butler lost to a D2 team. Maybe UE isn't all that good.

I am hoping we got the better player in the long run. Although rumor had it that had Hummel not returned to Purdue, Moore would be a Boilermaker right now.

Zeller is good, but he is still a freshman. We will find out tonight. Good Luck Aces. Go get another for the valley.

Zeller is the better player. He was last year and he is this year and will be next year.

Moore is a nice player, but he shouldn't have won Mr. Basketball. That game you're referring to was a consolation game of a tournament. Moore scored 28 of his team's 46....on 29 shots. Zeller went for 13 and 15. Apparently it was a bad game for everyone.

Aces down 30 and Ryan starting to heat up. Same old story meaningless points.

Ace Dad wrote:The Hoosiers are supposed to win:

So called better conference

So called better recruiting

Evansville is not supposed to win:

Lesser conference

Less-touted recruits

Good players who are developed into better players

Not as athletic

No true post presence

The Aces have to play well and the Hoosiers need to play poorly for us to win. Our post players cannot allow Zeller to have a record game. We have to shoot and hit 45% of our threes.

I now will pray to the same basketball Gods that helped us against Butler.

Go Aces

How prophetic.

nowhere near the same IU team. They did not lose anyone from last year and added Zeller. Also Sheehey and Oladipo look 100times better this season compared to last. IU is probably an NIT team this season.

It's hard to judge player's improvement against Stony Brook and Chattanooga.

Also, IU's leading scoring from last years UE game, Maurice Creek, won't be playing, so it's hard to say they did not lose anyone from last year.

I hate to say it, but I expected Indiana to win. I didn't expect that, though.
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

I hate to say it, but these were some of my favorite posts on the old VT. :buddies:
