Great road win, Jays.

This will look good at the end of the year.

How was UAB forecast in CUSA this year?

Depending on the publication, I've seen UAB picked around 4th in CUSA.

According to the broadcast, coming into tonight UAB had not lost a non-con home game in SIX YEARS!!!!

Without a doubt, CU loses this game last year. Grant Gibbs has raised the team basketball IQ significantly. After one of the other games, I said he would be the X factor and he made the key plays down the stretch tonight.

Hopefully we can keep it going against Iowa on Sunday.

Memphis is the clear C-USA favorite, then it's Marshall (if you believe Josh Pastner, who has been hyping them all summer), then it's open between UCF, UAB, Tulsa and the rest.

All-in-all, it's a good win. UAB will win plenty of games this year and won't lose many at home.

This is great to see. More and more ammo for a multi bid league.

Solid win for the Jays last night. UAB on paper actually matched up with us as well as any team we will face this year. Long, athletic big guys that are pretty tough defensively. UAB finally started doubling Doug down the stretch but didn't do a very good job of it. Not sure why that wasn't their plan all along.

I know this has been said already, but man is Gibbs tough. This is exactly the type of player Altman always used to have on his good teams. He made three of the biggest plays of the game down the stretch. I love having a guy like this on our team again.

I don't think we played close to our best game, but to tough out a game on the road like that is obviously a sign of progress from what we have been doing on the road the last couple years.

Nothing like a unselfish, tough minded, hard willed glue player to make the entire team better. You can have a roster filled with great players, but you need some that help make other players great. It makes you wonder how a kid like that gets away....especially from a team like Gonzaga.

Great win Jays. I hope the league keeps this up...I am looking forward to seeing the RPI start to shake out after a few games.
