Shox Playing Something vs. Cal State - Fullerton

I'd hate to call the first half "playing basketball". In their best effort to look like a Thursday night team, the Shox are up 30-26 at the half.

1/7 from 3.

11 TO's.

CSF has Stutz doubled before he even gets the ball. Their strategy seems to be to leave the 3-pt. shooters open. That's working very well. Those guys are either laying bricks or throwing the ball away.

At one point WSU had more TO's than FG attempts. Then they started taking jumpers early in the possession and got the shot count above the TO count.

You don't want to watch this. It's bad enough on audio - shockerradio.com

All the attention on Stutz is opening Carl Hall up. Hall has 15.

WSU up 37-28. 17 and a half left.

Hall has all of WSU's points this half except for a lob-dunk sequence to Stutz.

Come on, Shockers!
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

If this was a baseball match-up, I'd say it would be a good win.

Unfortunately, it is basketball and WSU should dismantle this team.

It looks like the Shox should get the W with some comfort, but the best we can hope for is that the Shox were looking ahead to the UNLV game.

It's sad when the best you can hope for is a mental lapse.

Shox up 14 with about 8 minutes left.

The 3's are starting to fall.

After 3 made 3's, the Shox are now up to 4/14.

If the airball Ragland just laundched was a 3, then it would be 4/15.

Hall is up to 19 points and 8 boards.

sounds to me like the Shocks are doing good now, but Stutz has had a horrendous game.

Shox finally opened it up to a 20-point lead. Lots of newbies got a few minutes.

Final
WSU - 75
CSF - 60
