This on top of ISUR losing to UNCW makes this a very disappointing day for the valley. Looks like only CU, UNI and WSU (depending on tomorrow) are the only teams left who have a chance at an at-large.

UNI has at large chances based on what exactly? No bad losses?

Based on resume. Sure, it early, but they've won the games they needed to so far. The Panthers could conceivably be 10-1 entering MVC play, so I don't think there's any reason to discount their chances of an at large.

RPIs prior to games yesterday.

Yes.....St. Mary's is currently the number 1 RPI team right now. Sure, they don't have any great wins but ODU, Iowa State, Providence and CSU will probably be top 100 RPI teams when all is said and done.

An Rpi of 4 after yesterday, an SOS of 10 and, yes, no bad losses.

Loss is to #1 St. Mary's

Wins over #89 Old Dominion (road) #46 Iowa State (road) and #61 Colorado State as well as #152 Providence and #113 Northern Colorado.

Only one team on our non-conference schedule has a losing record (Northern Colorado) and one other is .500.

Still have #26 Ohio on the non-conference schedule.

Have to win the rest of these non-conferences to say we have an at-large consideration worthy resume, but,

Yes, UNI has steadily built themselves a nice resume to this point.

I would just like to point out that UNI is 5-0 against the MWC in the last 3 years. 8-)

It is pretty easy to do when you don't have to play New Mexico, BYU, UNLV or San Diego St.

Try telling Evansville that.

2011 - TCU - Loss (2pt, OT)
2010 - Boise St - Loss (6pt - CBI)
2010 - Air Force - Loss (1pt)

UNI beat New Mexico last year, and beat UNLV the year before.
