WTF happened here? I watched ISU play Illinois, and thought their front line of Carmichael, Ekey, and Wilkins could push them to the middle of the pack. Losing at home to a winless UNC-W? WTF 'Birds?

When people talk about front line (front court) they usually find comfort in consistency with scoring in the paint.

Against Illinois...
Ekey had 14 points; 9 were from 3, 1 was from the line
Wilkins had 10 pints; 6 were from 3, 2 were from the line

Against UNCW...
Ekey had 8 points; 6 were from 3 (2-4)
Wilkins had 0 points; 0-3 from the field, 0-2 from 3

We have two 6'7+ players that can shoot the 3. When they're hitting, we're good. Last night...

Bad loss to an inferior team. UNC-W came out more aggressive and we looked completely flat. In the post game our guys looked really depressed and disappointed. They knew they didn't come ready to play. I suppose its kind of hard to stay motivated when you play 3 teams in a row without a win. We are definitely much better than this game indicated. I don't see us coming out this flat in any valley game.
