This game is on Comcast Sportsnet (Chicago).

It's put up or shut up time for the redbirds after coming off an embarrassing loss to UNC-W. I know that this team is much better than that game has indicated. Let's see how the Redbirds rebound after a bad loss. We not only need this one, but we also need to get two more wins against Norfolk St. (decent RPI) and UALR to get our RPI back to a respectable level before valley play starts.

Going into this game I think we are favored by something like 2.5 points or so. Hopefully we come out fired up in this one and greatly surpass that.

The MVC really needs IlSU's RPI to be sub 200 before league play starts or else it will be a huge anchor on the rest of the teams. Losing to a team that was winless is a tough RPI penalty that will be hard for IlSU to recover from.

Top 4 in the Valley seems to be CU, WSU, UNI and Indy State. Who will jump forward and claim the other upper half spot? I still think Illie State is that team. A win here could go a long way in helping them forget the gaff agsinst UNCW.

Thought UE might be that team but watching that NC game........

I think Illinois State is probably a year away. No seniors will do that to you. We take alot of treys. Like everyone else, if we are on....look out. If we are off....YIKES.
