Murry redeemed himself in the 2nd half. Great comeback.

Good road win for the Shockers. Was worried about them being focused for this. Now a big one against Utah St.

Shockers showed some incredible defense! The press killed Tulsa.
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

He still has a long ways to go to be ready consistently. But I think Orukpe was the difference maker defensively tonight. The game really turned to our favor when he came in late in the 2nd half. He was very active. I was happy with him.

The game was pretty much decided during the time in the second half when both Stutz and Hall were on the bench with 4 fouls.

WSU was playing Orukpe as "goalie" with nobody else taller than 6'5" (Murry) on the floor. There wasn't much doubling and Tulsa was typically keeping two bigs on the court. Tulsa got nothing inside from either of their front court guys or from perimeter guys driving. While Orukpe didn't score, I try to track how many points he contributes by denying opponents. I'd give about 8 or 10 points that he prevented when he was in the game.

Shox didn't even attempt to use him as an offensive threat. He just set picks and pulled a big guy away from the basket - then let the perimeter guys go to work.
