USU pulled within 4 points in the second half, but couldn't get any closer as WSU held on to win 83-76. USU shot lights out in the second half putting up 56 points after scoring only 20 points in the first half.

It's a good win for Wichita State... maybe not the prettiest, but a good win.

Utah St has some players, they are just real young and inconsistent. I think they will put it all together and be better in Jan/Feb than they are right now. They are definately well coached, which goes without saying.

Shox are 3-0 this past week with wins over UNLV, @ Tulsa and Utah St. I will take it any way I can get it.

Yes. In a brief period, Wichita has taken out two C-USA teams who are traditionally good, a nationally ranked UNLV team, and a Utah State team that has been to 8 NCAAs in the last 12 years. There are problem teams in the Valley, but Wichita isn't one of them.

It's human nature for a team to let up after a big half time lead, happens in the NFL all the time.

Agreed. WSU, Creighton, and thus far UNI, have all done nothing except HELP the Valley. There are a couple who have neither hurt nor helped the conference, and then there are those who have completely shamed the conference.
