Aces win, big win on the road. Miami had beaten Dayton and Belmont.

I was just looking at their RPI, very weird, they've beaten Dayton and Belmont but also lost to Troy, SE Missouri State and Wright State.

Nice road victory by the Aces! This was the best I've seen us play since the win against Butler to open the season.

It was nice to see solid contributions from 3 freshmen (Sawvell, Rokas, Nelson). They made some big plays for the team.

Looking over the box score, the win is more satisfying considering the Redhawks shot so well - 56.5% for the games, 43.5% from three (10 of 23) and 81% from the line.

It helped that we hit 59.1% from the floor, 50% of our 3's (6 of 12), and 79.2% from the the line. From what I saw tonight, nobody had better think that all they have to do is come down here and walk out on the floor, and it's a sure win.

Marty's substitution pattern baffles me. Sarvell scores 6 straight points and makes a great defensive play and gets rewarded with a trip to the bench after 5 minutes of on court play. Team finds it hard to get any rhythm.

Sounds like the Barry Hinson school of substitution.
