UNI at least put up a decent fight in the non-con. Can't say the same for the Bears, which makes their win last night look worse.

It's not MSU that ruined it. MSU just did what they're supposed to do - play to win games. CU may have damaged the league's chance for multiple bids.

UNI has cut 10 points off the lead in about 3 minutes. IlSU may be choking this one away.

This is the first time I've seen Moore this year. I think he has something like 3 turnovers during UNI's 12-0 run.

Well you live by the 3 you die by the 3. I really wish we would go inside to Pehl and Tuttle more when we aren't making 3 point shots. Also when Jake Koch struggles as much as he did today we will be in trouble. Can't dig as big of holes as we did in both halves and expect to win.

Illinois State played well and did what they are supposed to, defend their home court. The Valley is going to be a dog fight. Gotta bounce back against Evansville on Sunday.

Congrats to ISU. They played really well and this win was probably long overdue. ISU's young guys looked really good tonight.

Panthers did not play very well at all. Gotta regroup to protect home court against Evansville next.

Good win for Illinois State.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that UNI isn't gonna have a Top 10 RPI anymore.

It'll drop out after Sunday win or lose with Evansville's 240+, but only dropped to 6 after this one.

Good game from Illinois State, made enough plays early in both halves to force UNI to scramble back in and then made just enough down the stretch to pull it out. Could be a tough out if they use it to build confidence.

UNI shot 37% to ISU's 51%, UNI only had 2 FT attempts all game-ISU wasn't whistled for a foul until 5 minutes left in the second half, mainly because UNI wasn't attacking much: either settling for 3 pointers or pull-ups. Had a lot of shots rim or pop out. Still were in the game with a chance to take the lead with a minute left. Move on and get ready for the Aces Sunday.

It's simple. MSU did not hurt the Valley, Creighton did not hurt the Valley, Northern Iowa did not hurt the Valley. ILLINOIS STATE hurt the Valley. Not by beating Northern Iowa, you can't fault them for that. But the bottom of the toilet bowl scheduling HURT the Valley. It is every team's collective responsibility to schedule as difficult as reasonably possible, and Illinois State failed. Now the whole conference will take a huge hit every time Illinois State wins a game. Ironic thing is, Illinois State is probably better than its 200+ RPI indicates, and that's EXACTLY the problem.
