We should just cancel the rest of the season.............

Ace Dad, why is every perceived "slight" of the Aces now all of a sudden a harping issue with you? Because they beat Southern Illinois or Northern Iowa? Now, magically everything's different?

The guy started a thread based on predictions, something this site has seen numerous times. He's not suggesting it to be set in stone or that we should just cancel the season because nobody's calling for Evansville to be 4-0 by next week.

It is a MESSAGE BOARD, in case you have forgotten. Why don't you put some predictions out there since you do a pretty good job of calling out other predictions when they are wrong?

My God, it's this bad after 2-0, I can only imagine what it could be like if another win or two was notched up. Maybe by then the Aces RPI will fall below 150.

Going with the actual THREAD, I'll play too:

CU 3-1
MSU 3-1
WSU 3-1
ISUBlue 2-2
DU 2-2
UE 2-2
ISURed 2-2
UNI 1-3
SIU 1-3
BU 1-3

Edit: Without even looking at 45's, it looks like we're thinking the exact same way..

Didn't mean to take a jab at the Aces.
My reasoning for the Aces going 0-2 this week?
UE's front court is very weak.
Tuttle is good, and he killed you.
Stutz, Hall, and Carmichael are better.
FWIW I still see the Aces as a play-in team.

Not looking past the Redbirds, but am VERY excited for MSU @ Indiana State. Should be a great game.

I tend to agree with the predictions made thus far, simply because of matchups. In my opinion, the 3 teams going into the season I thought we matched up with worse than anyone were Creighton, WSU and ISU(r). All of those teams have big and athletic front courts and present very tough matchups for us. However, confidence is a big deal and right now, we are playing with more confidence than I've seen all year. We have a real shot in both games this week, but still not favorable matchups at all. Of course, judging by the first week of the conference season, I think flipping a coin maybe as accurate as trying to think through predictions in this league.

Baller, as usual, and as your reputation supports, you "misread" my comment.

I said nothing about the Aces. My comment implied that if we are "predicting" winners, then why even play the rest of the games? Did you note the dancing banana? That should have been your clue. But, if one is clueless...........................

Others, I understand your positions. It will be tough for the Aces not to go to 2-1 with the Shockers coming to town.
