Bears can't look past Ill State and need to take care of business against a pretty good Ill State team. We have to defend the paint and keep Jackie Carmichael from going crazy. Even though he gives up several inches that will probably fall to Weems at least part of the time.

Hope the Bears can move to 3-0.

Apparently Patterson has a concussion and won't play. Not sure it hurts our rebounding or post defense all that much. Come to think of it, we're 2-0 in the Valley and he hasn't really gotten off the bus yet, so nevermind.

I think we need Patterson. But losing him isn't all bad either. It does give Rhine and especially Kirk a chance to step up. I'd like to see what Kirk could do with some extended minutes. Maybe we'll even see Corbin. He was supposed to be as good as Gulley and Downing. Obviously not the case so far.

I think we'll see MSU's guards grab a higher number of rebounds than usual and a Bears win. I'm hoping the Birds can keep the game exciting...I hate being completely frustrated and ready to give up early in the 2nd half (like on Sunday).
