2nd straight heartbreaking loss for the Aces. Too bad. Ill State at 3-1? Good start for them.

Brutal way to lose a game to have a kid hit his first career 3 (according to the ISU guys from the online feed) on a bank at that. Probably not the look they tried to draw up however that doesn't change the outcome. Credit ISU for continuing to hang around as UE led most of the way.

Too many 2nd half fouls got ISU in the bonus early, allowing them to chip away and get the chance late. All in all a competitive game between two pretty even teams, yet I'm still shaking my head at the bank to seal the Aces fate.
