As good as McDermott has been, Taylor Brown has been fantastic in the second half. Braves down 5.

44, on 18-23 (78%). Scary part was that 2 of his 5 misses were bunnies at the basket that rimmed out. I'm just so impressed by Dougie's ability to score efficiently. Jimmer who? Jimmer would drop 30 pts with 30 shots, shooting like 40%. His appeal was that he was all flash, throwing up 30ft threes and off-balance scoop shots in the lane. I swear, at one point I looked at stats and saw Doug had 11, then I looked again and said "holy s*** he has 21!?"

Very disappointed in the defense by the Jays though. I thought we made major strides on that end of the court in the 2nd half @ WSU and against Drake. Teams that have a go-to perimeter player seem to just always have career nights against us (with the exception of Rice). Let Bradley keep hanging around and allowed them to claw back...felt like we should've won by 20+.

Props to the Braves, everything they were throwing up was going in, and Brown was a stud.

Watched most of this one on ESPN. I agree McD was awesome offensively. 44 points WOW.

I do have to say he sure gives up some on the defensive end though. At times he just seems disinterested in that end and just lets his man blow by him. Still a great player though and one any team in the country would like to have.
