Wait, what?

Seck tipped a WSU miss into the basket. One official was just getting ready to call goal-tending when the ball fell in.

Shox go on a 6-0 run to start the half, with Stutz scoring to easy baskets inside. Ragland added a layup as the Shox lead by 13, 46-33, 17:53 to go.

First time since 1983 that the Shockers have won 3 straight games in Carbondale. Joe Ragland was player of the game with 20 points but Stutz(16 pts) owned them at times. Hall and Seck was a wash.

Thanks. Congrats on the win. I haven't seen them play yet but SIU must definitely be better than their ooc record would indicate. The Bears better not take them lightly next week.

Shox open the second half with a dominating 11-0 run in the first 4 or so minutes to push the lead to 19. Salukis traded baskets for the next two minutes and then went on their own 11-0 run to pull within 7 with 7 to go. Shox pushed it back out to 14 but the ugly dogs came back and cut to 5 with just over 2. Shox go on an 11 to 2 run before allowing SIU two easy baskets under 25 seconds.

SIU is very athletic and when their shots are falling they are dangerous! You can tell that there has been an influx in talent since the first couple weeks of the season with freshman learning how to play plus a non-suspended Bocott and Drinkard will be tough as he gets it going.

Good game. Both the Salukis and Shox looked great and terrible at times.
