I hate the "Airball" chant. Far too often it motivates a true shooter.

Last night it didn't. He sucked pretty much every shot after that.

It sounds like he sucked the shot that preceded the chant as well.

Regradless of his shooting, Bryant's energy and athleticism were a good thing for the Birds. His on-ball defense really shut down the Shocker guards ability to penetrate in the second half.

Brown is a good player and Moore got super hot in the second half. He made athletic plays and finished, contested or not, every single shot.

I know a Red Bird fan is going ot dislike what I am about to say, but my I am not about to be malicious.

I swear the Red Birds have been wearing the same road uniforms for 20 years or more.

If some rich alum would spring for new road uniforms, it would be nice.

Which brings up a good question. Other than identification, are uniform styles/colors made to please the players/coach or the fanbase? Because those greys...........

Unless you're Oregon, you get to pick from a palette of colors and sample designs provided by your uniform partner (Nike, Addidas, whoever).

What I don't get is that we (redbirds) seem to be the only team in the valley that wears the valley patch and it looks awful on our uniforms. They really need to do something with that.

This version of our uniforms I believe started in Janks 2nd year. Not a lot of fans of it on our end.
