I think Indiana State is done. 9pt Shox lead with two minutes, and no Mahurin.

Yes it's all but over. Ind State hung tough for most of the game. Just couldn't quite get it done. Congrats to WSU.

Looking forward to the next WSU/CU game. Obviously the class of the conference at this point.

Well, another game and another MVC team I came away impressed with. Lots of fight in the Trees tonight. Shocks were fortunate to be so good outside the paint.

Wrong. Don't foul hard AND follow through to the head. Good call.

Aside from that, brutal officiating tonight and Trees playing great D and VERY hard. They have all the energy and I suspect will pull this one out. WSU doesn't look like they want it as bad as ISU.

This is not intended to start a fight, it probably will but not intended. Reading your in game thread, is there ever a game some WSU fans don't think it is 8 on 5?

That was an intentional foul since he landed an elbow on Demetric's head. Take heart because no one in Indiana (including Odum and Lansing) seemed to know that either.

To your question...yes. The officiating was quite good both times we played BU (or is it UB, I always get confused).

Thank you Ben Smith for some timely sniper fire from way down range.

I believe that would be flagrant not intentional.

It's nice to know that the guys do still know how to play D. It was also nice to see some solid minutes from Kitch and a few from Gant.

Hit our bunnies and make a few FT and it's a totally different game. If this team can figure out how to put 40 minutes (hell, I'll take 35) together consecutively, they'll be fine. Otherwise, we'll see you Thursday.

*EDIT*
Which is really sad considering the Vandy win.

The Shockers could have done a much better job of this as well. Carl Hall and Garrett Stutz are both in the top 5 in the MVC in FG%. They missed a lot of shots as well. The play inside was quite physical. Credit ISUb defense for playing at a high level against two of the better inside players in the Conference.

For those of you that watched, and were unimpressed with Carl Hall...that is not his normal game. He generally scores with contact, however, it was obvious that the defense was bothering him as he was either very off-balance or didn't get his arms extended during the shot. I didn't "see" a lot of fouls by ISU on Carl, but the way he was shooting and not getting rebounds made me wonder.

Again, very good effort by the Sycs.
