I have never seen so much parity in my life. I will agree that CU and WSU are our best two teams. But, the next 3-4........................

I'm not sure whether it is parity or mediocrity.

Certainly a strange year. In 2006, I think we had a tn of teams tie for second place, but nothing quite like this.

If the next 3-4 teams are "good" teams and they beat up on each other, we have parity.

If the next 3-4 teams are "average or mediore" and they beat up on each other, we have parity.

The next 3-4 games may separate out the stronger #3 and #4 teams for us.

(10)Michigan St. loses at Illinois. If Creighton holds things down this week they will be moving on up. We will be doing our best not to let that happen tomorrow night.

I started a thread in the pre-season titled "The Battle For 3rd" and took absolute grief for even hinting that WSU and CU were clearly the top 2. It's interesting to note that two of the fanbases who were most offended to be relegated to no better than 3rd are staring Thursday night square in the face.

This late in the conference and yet after tonight, it could be a 4 way tie 3rd and just a 1 game separation from 3rd to 8th.
