Game starts at the top of the hour at Hulman Center in the battle for ninth place.

Looks like Vegas has the Trees by 8.5.

Both teams shooting well above their average so far, including ISU's 8-8 from three. Overall, Southern shooting 49%, ISUb 54%.

Crazy shooting display by Indiana State. Tied an NCAA record by hitting first 11 three pointers without a miss.

Lowery says it didn't happen in his post-game radio interview.

"Well actually it was 12 for 13 because they had an airball from the corner"

Nothing but class.

I thought Mahurin air balled a 3 also, but it must have been ruled a 2 instead??

the record itself was for consecutive 3's to start a game only, I think the record for consecutive 3's during a game is more than 12

It was a pass. Just because the guy he was lobbing to didn't break to the basket from the 3-point line doesn't change the fact that it was a pass, not an airball.

David Kyles got a similar break from a scorekeeper to have a perfect shooting night in WSU's last game. the scorekeeper "decided" that the one that missed was actually released after the shot clock expired, which didn't agree with any of the announcers or my recollection of the shot, but there's no review of scorekeeper's decisions on meaningless game events.
