They are reserving the last roster spot for the State Farm College Slam Dunk contest for a "darkhorse" voted on by fans on facebook. It's being done bracket style until they arrive at a winner. You can vote once per day. I hope this can be one of those "Valley fans unite" moments to get a conference player some recognition.

I wanted to give this a little bump. His opponent is from Ashford College and they are really publicizing this. DK's lead is down to 53%-47%. He could really use some help from the Valley brethren!

Dont know if anyone besides shockers have taken time to vote but it'd be nice to get some other MVC fans voting even more so now that the voting is very close. . .

I know many Valley fans may not care enough to vote, but I am bumping this and hoping for the best anyway.

David Kyles is in the finals of this Darkhorse event. Would be nice if fellow Valley teams could pull together to get a Valley player into this competition.
