Yes all 6 could finish 9-9.

There are of course hundreds of scenarios but if UNI manages to win out, they only need either Drake or ISUred to lose to WSU. I predict the bottom 7 end up like this:

4) UE (9-9) (splits CU/MSU)
5) UNI (9-9) (beats BU and SIU)
6) Drake (9-9) (splits WSU/SIU)
7) ISUred (9-9) (splits WSU/BU)
8) ISUblue (8-9 or 8-10) (splits CU/MSU or loses to both)
9) SIU (5-13)
10) Bradley (2-16)

That is not right. It is a mini round robin. All those teams would be 3-3 and it would then go to non conference schedule.

No, the first tiebreaker is head to head. UE owns the head to head tiebreaker with UNI. UNI owns the head to head tiebreaker with Drake. ISUblue owns the head to head tiebreaker with EU. The rest of the teams split the series 1-1.

The second tiebreaker is non-conf SOS, which UNI beats everyone but WSU. The above standings listed with tiebreakers taken into consideration

Only for a two way tie.

True, but in my scenario, all the teams tied have equal records in the mini round robin (3-3).

This means the non conf SOS comes into play, which is reflected in my standings.

Ahhhh, ignore my previous post, you are right. I didn't take into account the head to head being negated.

UNI will finish above EU in the event of a 3 team or more tie.

That is still not right. If UE, UNI and Illinois St finish in 3 way tie. Then UE would win the tiebreaker over those 2.

We will just let it play out and see what happens. There are still a ton of scenerios.

You're right, we still have literally hundreds of difference scenarios and UE will finish above UNI in your 3 way tie scenario.

All that being said, I still do like UNI's chances to avoid Thursday for two reasons:

1) We hold the non conf SOS tiebreaker over everyone but WSU
2) Our remaining two games are against the worst teams in the conference (BU and SIU)

In any tiebreak scenario we always end up last unless it is with MSU. Thanks for the scheduling Jank. :Bam:

This makes perfect sense in Jank's scheduling philosophy. It's easier to win in St. Louis on Thursday than on Friday, so he sets up his non-con schedule to maximize his chances of getting a Thursday game in St. Louis. It's all about the wins, BAY- BEE!
