Your better off listing it this way:

Drake 8-8
Illinois State 8-8
Evansville 8-8

That's how the tiebreaker sits right now.

I still think UNI has a decent chance to avoid Thursday. We must beat both BU/SIU and hope Drake or ISUred loses to WSU. We will be most likely be favored in both our remaining games and no way WSU is laying an egg against Drake AND ISUred.

Who do you see playing on Thursday with this scenario?

If UE, UNI, Illinois St and Drake all finish 9-9.

I think it would end up like this.

All teams would be 3-3 in the round robin.

UNI would be 4th

UE would be 5th

Drake would be 6th

Illinois St would be 7th

Drake beat WSU in Des Moines. I'll St played the Shox close in Wichita and has only lost one game at home...

All 6 teams could still finish 9-9.

You're close 1982, but UE holds the tiebreaker over UNI due to the head to head record. The only way UE falls behind UNI is if UE drops both remaining games and UNI wins both remaining games.

There are of course hundreds of scenarios but if UNI manages to win out, they only need either Drake or ISUred to lose to WSU. I predict the bottom 7 end up like this:

4) UE (9-9) (splits CU/MSU)
5) UNI (9-9) (beats BU and SIU)
6) Drake (9-9) (splits WSU/SIU)
7) ISUred (9-9) (splits WSU/BU)
8) ISUblue (8-9 or 8-10) (splits CU/MSU or loses to both)
9) SIU (5-13)
10) Bradley (2-16)

That is not right. It is a mini round robin. All those teams would be 3-3 and it would then go to non conference schedule.

Is it possible to have six teams with 9-9 records?
