Northern Iowa at VCU - Fri 6pm ESPN2

Panthers are a 6 point underdog. I saw a comment from Myron Medcalf of ESPN that by the end of the weekend it would be acknowledged that the CAA is better than the MVC. Hopefully, UNI gets the Valley off to a good start.

I don't see UNI winning. First, it's on the road and second, it's not CU.....hope I'm wrong.

We won by 16 the first time we played in VA this year. Unfortunately I am not sure we can replicate that feat. In fact that was our only road win not in Iowa.

WOW VCU is crazy on defense. I have never seen a team like that. They will trap at any possible time. I think we will end up wearing down.

UNI doesn't know what to do vs. VCU's defense. VCU is shooting the ball well. Things not looking good, UNI needs to settle down and get in the half court.

Hell of a game. Still don't like the pace for UNI, but they have settled down and slowed it down. They need to continue making it a half court game.
