I cannot believe you are trying to use statistics to support a position as opposed to:

1. We have alway done it this way.

2. POY or MOP must come from the winning team.

This is just something fun (maybe) to look at.
My friends and I have a lot of fun with this throughout the year.
This doesn't mean that I think these players are the best or most valuable.
I just think this is an interesting way to evaluate production.
Colt had a league record 56 against CU breaking Andrew Warren's 53 vs Drake.
(Stats were taken from the 18 Valley games.)

To add on to that...
Rayvonte and Weems were on the Ironman list last year as well.
Doug's only game not in double figures was @ ILSU (9) in his first ever Valley contest.
Odum had 9 points @ BU last season.
