EU might but UE won't. A knowledgeable basketball fan would know that.

EU is UE and UE is EU, even fans of the aces see the need to move down. The MVC should see if Butler would be interested in swapping them spots since all 36 students were out in full force today.

tiebreakers only apply to seeding and not league standings

uuhhh, What???

The league standings determine the seeding order.

If 3 teams tie for first, they all get to claim a share of the regular season crown. They all finished first. Tiebreakers are there merely to seed the conference tourny.

Seriously, it's not that hard of a concept.

Aces should be a top 6 team next season. If you don't lose any players, other teams don't improve, etc.

I count 2 starters that UE loses (Holmes and Harris).

Illinois State doesn't have a single SR on their roster.

Creighton loses 1 starter (Josh Young)

UNI loses 1 starter (Johnny Moran)

Drake loses 1 starter (Alexander) and one top reserve (Woods). They should also get VanDeest back.

Alexander wasn't a starter (except on senior night), so the Bulldogs lose no starters, while adding Van Deest (2 year starter) and Uhlenhopp back into the mix.

No UE is NOT EU AND fans of the Aces do not see a need to move down. There is no reason to denigrate a school or its fans on this forum. UE has been in this league since the 90's and has an illustrious basketball history along with being an outstanding academic institution. Calling it EU is either from lack of knowledge or an attempt to belittle. Based upon your followup comments it appears to be the latter. I'm a fan of the MVC and always root for all the teams during pre conference play and post season play. I do however agree that there is 5 3rd place teams.

Shockers lose 4 starters. It will be a shoo in Thursday team.
