Welcome to Arch Madness

I really believe that one of the more enjoyable parts of Arch Madness weekend is simply talking with fans of the various schools. Sometimes on a message board people can come across a certain way and when you meet them in person, you realize we're a lot more similar than different. I really hope to visit with as many MVC fans as possible over the next 4 days. Send me a tweet @mvcfans and I'll let you know our location. Find us in St. Louis - say hello and maybe share a libation or two in honor of an exciting season.

Win or lose, I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend.

We all can have fun bantering back and forth during the season and the upcoming Tourney. But once it is over and the Auto Champ, + 1 OR 2 more are in the NCAA tourney we must all then get behind each and every one of the teams. This goes whether it is the NCAA, NIT, CIT, or whatever. Hopefully we can see WSU and Creighton in the Elite Eight and even the Final Four. We will all gain if the Conference does well.

Well said MVC. WSU fans come across much much different in person than they do on a message board. I really enjoy Arch Madness. When I left Cedar Falls/Waterloo today the temp was 34 and when I arrived it was 68.

Today will be special in Valley tourney lore. I can see at least two higher number seeds winning in this round. Some will call them upsets but in this year's tourney there is no such thing as an upset. Maybe a surprise or two but nothing is an upset. Reminds me of the days of the old ACC tournaments before every league had one.
