BEAR'S last tune-up prior to Costa Rica

Bear's held their last practice prior to leaving for Costa Rica and used the last part for an open scrimmage to the public. They split the squad of 12 and played two 10 minute segments followed by a 5 minute one, with officials and clock stoppages as normal. Just the usual stuff, but a couple notables. Of the 105 points scored, 60% were by freshman. Gavin Thurman led the way with 19 pts including 3 treys. The 6'7 frosh is pushing for starting time. Many believe the next big scorer for the Bears will be freshman guard Marcus Marshall, a 6'2 guard who can stroke the trey and get his own shot off the dribble, and he went for 12 pts. Vets Downing and Kirk had 12 points each, and Pickens had 9 rbs. Oklahoma redshirt freshmen 6'7 pf Drew Wilson and 6'1 pg Dorrian williams had 10 pts and 9 pts respectively and Wilson, a very aggressive player around the rim had 7rbs and 3 dunks. Juco transfer Tevin Bracey a 6'3 pg who was 3rd nationally in assists last year handed our 8 assists. We're young but kinda fun.
The Bear is the largest carnivore on the North American continent; beware the Bear!
