Ben Smith, Hatch's backup at wing, is a 6'5" skywalker. I didn't see any evidence of his 40% shooting from 3 in JuCo. A 41" vertical would let him hit is head on the rim.

Actually, no it wouldn't. Last time I checked, the rim is at 10', not 9'10".

You are absolutely right. Then give Smith a 43" vertical. With no dunk contest, the warmups became the dunk contest - and Smith was repeatedly head-high to the rim. If he's the backup for Hatch, he's ging to bring a completely different look to the 3-spot, as Hatch is admittedly not the most athletic guy in the world.

I understand that the Sycamores have a "Beast" in the middle in the form of 6' 8" 250 lb. Myles Walker who won't be pushed around.

From Walker's bio at [url]http://www.gosycamores.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=65152&SPID=7259&DB_OEM_ID=15200&ATCLID=204968616&Q_SEASON=2010

Walker is a 6-8, 250, junior college post player from South Plains Junior College who averaged 7.4 points and 4.8 rebounds, while shooting 46.7 percent from the floor and 38.6 percent (32 for 83) from the free-throw line

Foul him.

I also noticed that InSU has 5 guys 6'8" or taller. I was not aware that InSU had that kind of height this year.

Apparently, Koch Arena now has a liquor license.

Stutz will get a shot at the NBA, no doubt about that at all. I guess it just depends on your definition of "prospect" if he is one or not.

Were you there? Or do you have some way of knowing things without experiencing them and with no exposure to them?

Unlike the Qwiet Center, Koch does not have a liquor license.
