Former Valley Player Killed in Texas Burglary Attempt

This story resonated with me for four reasons.

First, he played in the Valley the same era my son played.

Second, I went to high school and college in the Dallas area and have family who live in and around Plano.

Third, too many former college basketball players do not transition to the real "work world."

Last, reminded me of the Evansville players who broke into the dorm rooms, stole equipment, and ruined their lives and our team's hopes for a competitive season.
